In addition to create a more dynamic and realistic fallout world where your loadout matters heavily on what you can take on. The purpose of this mod is to combine the assets of the two largest weapon packs, while ensuring they are compatible, feel balanced, and show up at vendors and on enemies. If you are interested let me know I'd be happy to cut you a great deal.Created a plugin with FO4Edit. Ever since the VCOG came out in green I have been thinking about selling some optics to fund the plunge. The only scopes I would take over the HAMR/Deltapoint would be an Elcan SpecterDR 1-4 or a Trijicon VCOG 1-6 both with an RDS on top just to be safe but thats a lot of dough. I definitely like it over the Acog/RMR combos. If you handle one it screams quality, fit and finish top notch. IMHO I wold probably take HAMR glass over ACOG glass as s incredibly nice crisp and clear. Daylight bright reticle that won't washout the way all of trijicon's dual illumination (fiber optic / tritium) optics are known to do. However I see several noticeable advantages to the HAMR over the ACOGs. Its also compact so it balances extremely well (unlike variable scopes with mounts where length of weight distributed almost always throws off balance and feels heavier) one of the many reasons people love ACOGs. It's super lightweight but built like a tank. Like I said, I think a lot of people tend to misuse and move their head up and down - but if you are disciplined about using it optimally, it is an amazing combo.Īs far as the scope itself, it is the real deal. The other reason behind having a piggybacked optic is for quick target acquisition as one raises/shoulders the rifle (reach it quicker than getting to full cheek weld). You can definitely develop the skills/familiarity/comfort with this thing if you are open/patient to it. Nothing complicated or difficult about it, just different. If you practice and become proficient, it is an amazing tool indeed. Instead, what you are supposed to do is roll the rifle slightly to the left and allow your left/non-dominant eye to pick up the delatpoint red dot. Most people make the mistake of lifting their head to use the deltapoint RDS after the initial cheek weld looking through the 4x HAMR. My only caution would be the level of practice/familiarity you will want to have with this particular optic (if for say you haven't had much time behind an Acog w/ piggybacked RMR) as it is quite different from your standard fixed scopes/RDS/variables where you keep a constant cheek weld. I don't have a ton of rounds on mine as I've babied it but I can tell you it is worthy of a serious look if you are looking for a versatile combat optic. I own one and it is an excellent optic, highly underrated in my opinion.
